The third annual Coeur d’Alene Boat Expo is nearly upon us! This year the Boat Expo is going to run from January 26th through February 5th, 2022. All of the events are free but do require an RSVP ahead of time. All information for tickets can be found at cdaboatexpo.com.
While the eleven days of Boat Expo are the main event, there are plenty of other things going on in the weeks leading up to and following January 26th. These include Wine & Whiskey Wednesdays, our Boat Expo VIP Night, Donuts & Mimosas, and Kids Surf Contest. Let’s break it all down for you!
Wine & Whiskey Wednesdays
Wine & Whiskey Wednesdays happen every Wednesday leading up to Boat Expo (January 5th, 12th, and 19th from 5-7 PM). This is part of our Pre-Boat Expo series, giving us a great way to kick off Expo with some of our favorite folks. Complimentary wine, whiskey, gourmet appetizers, live music, as well as a sneak peek at our 2022 Boat Expo line-up are just a few of the features of this event. If that’s not enough, we hand vouchers for 50% off your meal at Cedars Floating Restaurant to everyone who joins us. This event is a favorite of all.
Boat Expo VIP Night
Next up is the Boat Expo VIP Night on January 21st from 6-9. Whether you’ve purchased a boat from Hagadone Marine Group before or are looking to buy in the future, we love to have you join us on this incredible night! Perhaps the most popular event before the Boat Expo, VIP Night features LIVE bands, a GOURMET buffet, DELICIOUS cocktails, and so many BEAUTIFUL BOATS! It’s one of the best nights of the Expo.
Donuts & Mimosas
The only Sunday of the Boat Expo gives us Donuts & Mimosas! We serve complimentary donuts from Hello Sugar and mimosas – yes, please. This features three of our favorite things: donuts, mimosas, and boats! The fun morning takes place on January 30th from 10:30 AM-11:30 AM at the Boat Expo. What better way to wander the showrooms and explore our expansive collection of boats than with a glass of bubbly and a yummy donut?
Kids Surf Day
Lastly, an event that happens after the Boat Expo has ended. On February 12, the Kid’s Surf Contest is back for the third year in a row. This event is sponsored by Liquid Force, featuring a surf simulator contest, a DJ, delicious food, hosted beer and wine (for the adults), corn hole, ring toss, and more. Ages 3-13 are welcome to participate in the contest on our Surf Simulator Machine. Prizes and Trophies are given out to age group winners. Plus the surf simulator is inside, dry, and doesn’t require a swimsuit! It’s a fantastic wintertime opportunity to get to work on the kids’ surfing technique. As with all of the other events, tickets are free, but RSVPs are required.
